Why Choose Us?

There’s no shortage of good coffee in the Pacific Northwest. Finding great coffee though is a bit more challenging. To get great coffee starts with the right selection of beans, then the roasting process, and then enjoying right after roasting.

While coffee can be shelf-stable for one years’ time, its window for optimal flavor is around 2-3 weeks from the roasting date. That's why our premium specialty coffee is roasted to order and shipped the same day from the day you ordered. This concept is perfect for peak freshness. You won't want to drink old grocery store shelf coffee anymore after you have ours, trust me!

The second and probably biggest difference between our premium specialty coffee and the stuff from grocery stores is the beans themselves. For coffee to be labeled specialty grade it must have a cupping score of 80 or higher. The stuff on the grocery shelves is commodity coffee, bought at a low price, roasted in giant batches, ground, then shipped out. It's cheap, unflavorful coffee - no wonder people add all kinds of milk and sugar to it.

Those two differences alone should be enough to convince you to try our premium specialty coffee and compare it to whatever coffee you currently drink. I promise that, like me, you will not be able to go back to that darkly roasted pre-ground garbage.

If you are looking to try small batch, roasted to order, premium specialty coffee goodness, then you came to the right place, Coffee Oak Roasters.

If you're a little unsure where to start, please consider our Breakfast Blend.

I can't wait for you to try it!
